Every home hears the message
The Jesus. All about life campaign will use prime time television and other media outlets to communicate the teachings of Jesus to every home in New South Wales & Western Australia.
Over six million people will have the opportunity to hear what Jesus said and be challenged to consider his message, primarily via cultural and community events run by local churches.
Over the six week period of the campaign, Jesus will be the topic of conversation in homes, at BBQs and in work places.
Christians will have the opportunity to be part of conversations where the person of Jesus is the hot topic.
Jesus. All about life has been researched and developed in consultation with marketing and advertising experts so as to communicate into the homes and culture of the average Australian.
Every home has a choice
Those who see and hear the message of the campaign, that Jesus is ‘all about life’, may want to engage in discussion and find out more about the person of Jesus. A primary benefit of the campaign is that it will show the Christian community the impact of using television and film as a medium to communicate a message. This will happen in two significant ways:
1. Response Centre
The Jesus. All about life material will direct people to either call a 1 300 number or visit a web site for more information. The Jesus. All About Life book includes the Gospel of Luke and will be sent to all who contact the response centre.
2. Local Christian Church involvement
The campaign is more than just media – it’s also about engaging the church in the utilisation of media to communicate its message. The aim is to have more than 2,000 Christian churches across NSW & WA sign up to the campaign and then actively be involved in helping their family, friends and community to understand the person of Jesus via a range of cultural, community and arts events.
In past campaigns, churches have been involved in running events in their community. These events have been relevant to the culture of their communities. Events of all types have been used including; community gatherings, concerts and events with significant guests and special music. Based on past campaigns this will result in the following:
- People across NSW & WA will see a minimum of 10 impressions of the ads over the length of the campaign
- 5,000 cultural events organised and run across NSW & WA
- It will create a tangible opportunity for churches to engage with their community
- Create the opportunity for churches to work together.
