Bible Society Bookshop

The Bible Society bookshop in Clarence Street Sydney has a vast collection of Bibles, Christian gift cards, CDs, DVDs, Bible covers, inspirational Christian gifts, diaries, bookmarks, t-shirts – you name it, they have it. And if they don't have something specific, they'll do their best to order it in for you. You'll be amazed at what they have to offer.

There is never a dull moment in the shop – Ranjan and his team – John, Andrew and a handful of dedicated volunteers, cheerfully serve those who wish to purchase books and other products, but they also serve God in growing and strengthening His kingdom by witnessing to those who enter the shop searching for answers to life's constant challenges and tricky questions.

Pop in and say 'hi', have a look around, browse the shelves, ask the team to pray for you – they'd be delighted to.

An encouraging bookshop story...

A customer who drives a bus (name withheld for obvious reasons) parked [his bus] full of bewildered passengers, in front of the shop. He momentarily checked for trafffic, gave his bus load a friendly nod and dashed into the bookshop. He asked for two more copies of a book he had purchased previoulsly from the bookshop, 'The reason for God' as he wanted to present it to his friends. The transaction was completed in record time and the driver left the shop content with his purchase and impressed with the incredibly prompt and friendly service. Even his passengers were impressed.
