Phil Watson Phil enjoys drawing Shark cartoons. These cartoons grew out Phil's love/hate relationship with sharks. Being a surfer himself, Phil decided to make fun of sharks from the safety of his drawing board. His cartoons were originally posted on his website onewhale.com where they soon became a worldwide hit.
In 2005 Phil was tracked down by Underwater Adventures Aquarium in Minnesota, where they asked him to turn their mascot 'Sharky' into a series of cartoons. Phil came up with a series of short animations of Sharky travelling the world, and you can see all of these animations on his YouTube channel.
Phil has a background in Bible animation and enjoys illustrating Bible stories for children.
Phil is passionate about children, drawing, animation and Bible stories.
Target audience: Primary schools.
